Comments: Here is a new entry for the "What a Body" contest we ran a few months back!  Pretty neat looking little buggy if you ask me!

Like Bill Singer said a while back - "If you painted all of today's cars white, you wouldn't be able to pick out your favorite..."   Something tells me you'd be able to pick out the #39 no matter what color all the cars were!!!

02/26/04 Scott Pacich John Mc gave me the scoop on this car. It started life at Flemington, went to Riddle and eventually ended up in Tighe Scott's hands.

I (also) talked at some length with Billy Clickner about this car.  He was one of the builders with Jimmy Klim. He says Jimmy built this car just because he liked to tinker with new ideas and stuff.   It's a stock frame that runs under the rear. It had the old Chevy Nova single leaf rear springs with stock shocks, and the cantelever front end on the orignal car was the prototype for Profile. It's original body was a full Chevy Vega that flipped up like a funny car. This body is a Vega rear (trunk and quarters) and a Metropolitan roof. Billy says the ownership chain was Klim to Scott to Riddle. Probably right since Scotty's car had the inboard coils and this one does not. Billy also says Jimmy Klim is still "building things".

02/26/04 3-Wide I'd like to thank Ricky Rutt for providing such a cool picture and would really like to find out who deserves the photography credit as I am told it is either Sue Golden or Bob Snyder.  Please let us know if you have any idea.
07/29/04 Steve Pados The original number of this car was 747. He also had a beautiful Chevy Coupe with the 747 on it as well.  Steve Pados - Car Quest Gasoline Alley
02/08/06 Paul Madsen I wish i could find a picture of this car when Jimmy Klim owned it.   It was a
cool looking car. The body he had on before this was a full body flip top vega. Jimmy was very inventive. Now i see he is building soap box derby cars for his son to compete in the big soap box derbies.
11.15.09 ShaNob3 I dont remember my dad racing this car but have lots of pictures of it.i couldn't believe my eyes when i seen his picture on this site.
