07/18/04 John Mc  I think the 44 is Rags Carter, and the T1 is Joe Conti (car was owned by Jay Butler).
08/19/04 Mark Yaple In this shot it is Freddy Adam in the Meals 44.
08/19/04 3-Wide Looking closer at the original and I think it does say Freddy Adam on the roof...  I also remember Red Coffin driving a car numbered like this.
08/19/04 Brett J. Butler John Mc. is right. Joe Conti is in the T-1 (one of the original ones). I thought Rags Carter was in the 44 too, but I think Mark would know best.
08/20/04 Kevin B Fred  DeGroot also drove the 44, but I think it was a little later on!
10/05/04 Jeff y Little known is that gentleman Joe Kelly also drove the 44. Joe drove for Dick Meals at Nazereth in 1967. He started out driving for Dick in an older coupe than the one pictured here. Joe's last ride for Meals was trying to qualify for Langhorne on the asphalt in 1967 in this new coupe.  The suspension was bad, thus he did not make the field. Joe and Meals said they would see each other the next Sunday at the Big Track at Nazereth, but during the week Meals fired Kelly and hired Rags Carter, who lived near Meals in the Reading Pa area. I know this, as I was the designated "GOFER" and food getter for the crew at Langhorne. Joe Kelly was a great guy and true "gentleman".
01/25/06 Alan Carter Jr. This was Freddy in the 44. He drove the car after dad went to Ferraiulo 73.
02/02/10 Larry Ferraiuolo Alan, your father was a great driver. Your father and mine (Tony), got along very well and won a lot of races, they where good memories. We came so close in the Eastern States 200.
