Comments: Here's Glenn in one of his early rides in the Rio Brothers ride.  Not sure if this is the car that ended up with the Falcon body on it.

12/03/04 Barry Miller I remember this car, I am a big Glenn Fitzcharles fan and I am partial to coaches. The reason the roof is dented on this car is because he took a bad flip at Reading in this car and they did not replace the body yet.  I was at The Fairgrounds the night he flipped it.  You notice the flat right rear, he blew a right rear tire coming off of turn two and he barrel-rolled down the backstrech. I cannot remember if he went over the wall or not. It was soon after this that The Rio's stopped coming to reading on a regular basis. I was in 9th grade at the time of this wreck and I can still remember it. It happened on a Friday night and I think that the car was race ready the next week. After this wreck my friend and I nicknamed this car the roadmap because of all the lines on the roof. Glenn was always one of my favorite drivers and he could go fast in anything that he drove. Bye for now, keep up the good work.

Keep up the good work, I love your old pictures. These things that race today are not race cars.

12/03/04 3-Wide Glenn was fast in everything.  I remember the #56, #96X, a bunch of R-10's and at least 3 different #23's... Glenn also drove the #GO car, the Sessely #16, and the Council Harroll #35.  And we all know what he accomplished once he got rid of the body all together!

As a side note to Barry, I'm not a fan of today's cookie cutter bodies either Barry, but they are race cars...  But they sure as heck aren't Modified "Stock" cars!

12/30/04 Jerry H How many guys out there would luv to have the Flemington Challenger conv in the back-ground?-
12/30/04 3-Wide The pace car is alive and well as the proud owner had it back at the track one last time for the final vintage event last year.
