Comments: Having won features in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and now in the 00's, Fred is in a class by himself.  Maybe there are a handful of other racers on the planet that can claim the same accomplishment... maybe a few....

But as amazing as that resume is, the thing that I know that all of us who have followed Fred's career would agree on is the following;  As fierce a competitor as Fred is behind the wheel of his trademark #303, he is also recognized as one of the cleanest drivers to ever put on a helmet.  While many will recognize his on track accomplishments as they should, it should also be noted that there isn't a finer gentleman and family man to be found in the sport.

There was a time when I couldn't make it to Windsor during the early 80's each week due to college and work assignments, but my father would always go... and would always give me the recap week after week... and he would always start off by telling me how Freddy did...

Fred was one of my dad's favorites, and Fred is still one of my favorites... and I know that there are many, many #303 fans who visit the Vault!

02/22/05 Scott Pacich Not a comment about the picture, but a comment about Fred. I received a card from him and his wife following my dad's passing. I've never met Fred, and I don't know if my dad ever did either but is says something about him as a person. Thanks Fred.
03/28/05 J.STINNETT CLEAN RACER,FREDDY WAS THE MOST LOYAL RACER AT E. WINDSOR,NEVER MISSED A SEASON AT THE TRACK. ALWAYS HAD COOL LOOKING CARS,AND HE WON WITH THEM.  IF THEY OPENED WINDSOR TOMORROW FREDDY WOULD BE THE FIRST IN LINE.
