Comments: Comment from car owner Geoffrey J Yoder:
This is a photo of Gary Butler, who drove his own U2.  I was the owner of this modified. It is a 1939 Cadillac coupe (really...  a Cadillac).

This picture was at Reading and was probably taken soon after we finished
building it (Gary did most of the Chassis work) in 1973. The car had a new Tobias chassis and was an injected 427.  Gary ran the car for a few months, then it had such drivers as Gary Gollub, Lauden Potts, Dizzy Dean.

We ran the car in 1973 and 1974 then I sold it when I became connected with Kim Trout, who did the head mechanics as well as the driving for the remaining 5 years I was in the sport. We had a new Tobias Pinto in 1975 and a new Harraka gremlin in 1978 that qualified and finished the Schaeffer 100 in both 78 and 79 (79 as the Nazereth representative). Kim was also the 1979 Nazareth Rookie of the year when we finished 7th in points.  Ironic is the fact that in the background to the right you see a man behind a gold Mustang bodied racer. That man is Dick Trout, father of Kim. The car is the #99 and was Kim's first full time ride at Reading.

It was a great time for racing... We had a new car and the future was bright.

Gary was a great person and died at way too young an age.
