Comments: | Here's
a picture of Bill Lowden in victory lane at Wall Stadium back in his driving days.
Many of you have gotten a chance to say hello to Bill on the vintage trail and at the
Flemington reunion events as Bill recreated the orange #333 with the black roof driven by
Billy Osmun back in the early 70's. Bill is an outstanding fabricator who does a lot
of work on some of today's racing vehicles as well including many in the SlingShot
division. Bill's son Billy Jr. is also pictured here in the Vault in a car that he competed in on the asphalt at Flemington in the 1990's, and we hear he is competing once again. Along with helping his son, Bill is currently working on a replica of the #81 driven back in the day by Billy O and Sammy Beavers... Can't wait to see it Bill! |
