08/10/05 | Ken Thoman | Ray was always a blast to watch at Flemington, his slides (and often times
spins) going into turn one was as exciting as Stan coming through three and four. |
08/10/05 | 3-Wide | Bill Singer told me that he thought Ray would have made a heck of a sprint car driver because of the way who would whip this car through the corners. |
08/12/05 | Fred Menschner | This is the pits at East Windsor Speedway. We ran this car with a
427 big block Chevy engine on pump gas with a carburetor. Notice the end of the
exhaust pipe it is turned up. This is when Wally Marks was helping us and he wanted
to make sure when Ray went to pass a car on the inside that the race car he was passing
new he was there, by the loud exhaust sound, and did not drive down on him. Sometimes it worked... Fred Menschner |
