Comments: Here's a Pinto that even Lee Iacoca would have loved....  One of the sharpest cars from the 70's, Bob Pickell in the red, white and blue #300.  Not sure if this is the car that was latter purchased by Cozze or not, but I know that when you speak to Bob, he talks about how much he liked that particular car.

11/22/05 John Mc This was the car that he got from Peter Chesson. The car that Cozze bought was an Olsen car that followed this one. Don't know whatever happened to this car, it was supposed to go to Bob's daughter Brenda, but nothing ever materialized.
11/22/05 Scott Pacich This started life as Chesson's 76, didn't it? I thought that this was one of the best red, white and blue paint schemes that anyone put together...
11/22/05 Brian Loutrel The date of this photo was either 1974 or 1975. The car was first campaigned by Pete Chesson in 1973 with both Billy Osmun and later Stan Ploski driving the car. In fact, Ploski won the 1973 Flemington 200 in this car. Pickell subsequently bought the car from Chesson and ran it himself for two years before he replaced it with Chevette similar to the one Frank Cozze drove in 1977 - 1978.
11/23/05 John Mc I spoke to Bob, Jr last night and mentioned this picture. His father had actually bought the #27 Mustang from Stan Ploski for Brenda, not this car.
Frankie Schneider bought this car from Pickell, then sold it to a guy from around the Phillipsburg area. I believe he plans on restoring it, maybe someone knows him and can fill us in further.
