from Matt: This is a picture of obviously Horton on the inside and my
dad on the outside in the #1 (was #88 for a while) known then as, Duggy Bruno Cranstoun if
I'm correct. This was East Windsor circa 79 or 80. My pop is running a 427 Ford Big Block. I may be a bit partial, but I really love this car. This coupe just looks beautiful, I wish I saw it run, but I was born in 80 and that's the last year he ran the Mods. He was the owner, builder, crew, driver and eventually ran out of money. He got back into it in the Late Model division for a few years with a pretty awesome creation I'll have to get pictures of #4. But then EWS did away with those and that was it for him. |

12/01/05 | Jim Storholt | Is the number (1) car an old Ken Brenn Sr #24 that Ploski drove in the early 70's? |
12/03/05 | Todd Lewis | Doug had an old S&S chassis that he was originally considering running with a coupe body on it. I remember the 4 well as I was an avid EWS visitor in those days. Doug is Ray Cranstoun's brother and Scott Cranstoun's uncle |
