| 01/02/06 | Jeff McClung | Look at the size of that drag rubber on the rear!! Also note the open face helmet with apparently no face protection! This was the Statewide era of Bridgeport and most of the Reading hot shoes raced there on Saturday nights. In my mind it was the best racing the speedway ever had, the track was kept tacky from top to bottom and five and six abreast in the corners was the norm. The sportsman class was also very good back then. |

I believe there is a visor,just not able to see it in this photo. I fondly remember Toby's helmet having a straight visor. |
