Comments: | We weren't sure who was driving the #9 above, but what we are sure that this is a seen that played out for many years at EWS with Tex Enright up on the top ledge of the wooden fence, waving his checkered flag in front of a slightly chilled crowd on a Sunday afternoon at East Windsor Speedway. |

turn 4. I wonder if the 9 car is being lapped and this was actually a shot of Tex doing his thing That flagstand looks real safe. You had to be off your rocker to work the flags back then. Great shot of Tex. I wanted to be a flag man when I was little because of Tex. Never met him, but I think of him almost every Saturday night in the summertime. |
