was called in by the Norcia team to drive the #81 at Syracuse in 1974. Don won the
consolation event in the car pictured above.
Don got the job done on the asphalt in a Norcia #81 at Wall in the 60's and on the dirt of Syracuse in the 70's. For those of you living in Florida, you can still catch Don driving his familiar red #3 Coupe!

here in Florida. I didn't know Don in the racing years up north, but I can tell
first hand Don is still a real wheel man. I know I've had a goodnite at the track if I can stay on the same lap as him - forget gettin by him. He is truly a great guy and driver always races clean and with the left front in the air Its an honor to know him and run with em. Truly a class act !!!!!!

|11/27/06||3Wide||We miss having Don up here in his familiar #3 coupe. I have a feeling if he towed it back up, he'd have some fun running with Wayne Weaver's #12W and Dave Spurlin's #42 that you'll see featured here in the Vault from time to time during their vintage car exhibitions.|
