There's not too many pictures of this car out there because... well... it didn't
last very long. This picture was taken early in the 1974 season and it looks like
this might have been opening day. Not long after this was taken, Stan flipped this
car the length of the backstretch at Flippington, (I mean Flemington.) Thanks to the
construction by the same guys who make Norcia Truck bodies, Stan amazingly walked away
from that one. For those of you who were there, I'm sure you'll agree that it was
one of the worst. I don't think there was a lot of love around the Norcia camp for this body style as I'm pretty sure they decided to go back to a coupe body after this car, followed a few years later by the great looking Black Horse Racing Team Gremlin(s). |
