Comments: I know, I know...  did I really need to post another picture of Howie's Falcon....?

Of course I did!

Many have told us that this is one of your favorite cars from the 70's and here it is in this never before seen Bill Young original photo provided by Kevin Budden.  The color of the sky is a little funky, but I'm sure for many of you, seeing this car and remembering the silver and black color combination with gold leaf #'s and gold rims, and of course with Howie at the wheel, will make us all remember those great Saturday Nights in the 70's at Flemington Speedway.

11/04/06 Kevin Inglin When I was a kid, I tried to make all of my AFX cars look just like this.   This is what a modified should look like, no doubt about it.
11/04/06 3Wide ....felt the same way Kevin.
06/19/07 Harry L. Gano Jr., CPA I grew up on Pennsylvania Ave in Flemington. Howie lived on the corner of Pennsylvania and Rt 31, I surely miss seeing the car there.
07/13/07 Mike Stevens I think that this picture was taken just before a long distance race in the summer. This is because of the extra screen on the bumper due to a wet track. The Guy standing at the gate in the security uniform is Emil Garay, the guy who took care of the track surface. He was a master of the clay and is one of the reasons the track had such a good surface. Sometimes he would stop by Howard's garage on Thursday nights to hang out. Of course, he would also impart some knowledge of the track preparation on the hometown boy.
