Photo ID # c12.29.06_090_McC_EWS_0070_1
Car #: #90
Driver (s) : Bob McCollough
Location: East Windsor
Date: 1970's
Photographer: Ace Lane
Photo provided by: Paul Garzillo
Comments: One of the favorites from the 70's Bob McCollough could be found running a little #89 Coupe and on most occassions, the Lynn Whitehouse, Ford Powered - Al Whitehouse #90 Falcon Sportsman and then later the brown and white #90 Pinto Modified.

Bob also raced at the Atlantic City Speedway (Pleasantville, NJ)

If you check out the "M. J. Grove Inc. Plumbing" located above the rear tire, you'll realize that this has been on racecars for many decades as this is the Whitehouse's business located in Windsor, NJ.  More recent fans will remember seeing M. J. Grove on both Carol Whitehouse's #90 and on Rocco Infante's #91.

12/28/06 pilgram Is that Johnny Botz in the back round?
12/29/06 3Wide I think the car in the background is "R.J. Brown" which I think is Ralph Brown who also drove a real cool looking orange and white Vega bodied Modified that is featured elswhere in the Vault.  This car in the background has that same shape as the #2 Botz coupe and similar to the Jim Goedeke Sundowner #6.
12/30/06 John Armbruster I used to like rooting for Bob at Windsor...I'm a Ford man at heart, even as
a kid. I believe you're correct about the #6...He always had cool looking cars, especially that Vega.
12/30/06 Chuck Hassler This in fact is the former Botz car since the car was purchased from Botz and driven by Brown.
12/30/06 Mark Yaple The car in the background is Ralph (RJ) Brown #6 which was a former Johnny Botz #2.
12/30/06 John Armbruster I tell you what, it's hard to believe the #6 in this picture is not the same car as Botz's #2 in this picture  https://3widespicturevault.com/70spics&vitals/04.12.03_002_BOT_REA_0070_1.htm

lol...seems we can construct the entire history of this car with your site:

12/30/06 3-Wide Hey, John... You better get back to work making those Roush cars go fast... Otherwise we're going to make you the head of research around here!  Great job in providing the links above -  Tell all the former Northeast guys who now call Mooresville, NC home Happy New Year -Thanks
01/07/07 Rick Shive If that is Botz #2,then somebody is one helluva body man.I've got a picture of Botz car TOTALLY destroyed, roll cage bent ,roof smashed flat, everything. (Sorry I can't post it,it's in the Reading Memories book.Maybe Mike Feltenberger has a shot of it.)
