02/22/07 Mark Yaple This picture was taken at the 1974 Flemington Opener. George came into his own as a driver that year where he went on to win two features at "The Square". I had a great time in '73 and '74 spending much of my time with George and his family.

Man, that was the hot set up. I feel 20 again. This car was sold to Robert "Tommy" Tomlinson, our current Pa. State Senator.
03/01/07 Mark Yaple Tony, You have a good memory. The homemade center steering unit which utilized a Mopar box was engineered and fabricated by the late Bill McConnel.
