Comments: | Let's
see... If there are 61 cubic inches in a liter... and this thing is running a
7.2 liter engine... That would make this thing around 440ci.... Anybody know
if Jack ran Mopars? Sharp looking raw car... big engine, back up high. I think this is the first time that I've seen this car brown. Most photos captured it when it was yellow. |

12/20/07 | Fred Voorhees | Your right. This team almost always use yellow as their car color. I knew
Jack and his family well. Not through being related, but by living in the same town -
Lambertville, NJ. There were a couple of Voorhees families that weren't related at that
time. Jack teamed up with Walt Voorhees, not sure of any relation there, and their shop
was out on Rt.518 outside of Lambertville in West Amwell where Walt lived. Walt's
son/stepson - not sure, is none other than John Sine who has crewed for a number of top
names such as Billy Pauch, Kenny Brightbill, Jamie Mills and lately, Richie Pratt down at
Bridgeport. Jack was a health nut and he would almost nightly jog a couple of miles on the streets of Lambertville. Our families were close friends. |
