| Comments: | Well... I remember Billy Osmun, Billy Pauch and Meme Desantis driving it, but I'm not sure who is in it in this photo. It says "Billy Mathews" on the roof, but according to Sherrie Dornberger, he was not the driver. (see note below) |

| 03/02/08 | 3-Wide | According to Sherrie, Bill Matthews was not the driver...he
helped sponsor the car at one point, and because there was not a permanent
driver at the time, Bill Matthews name was put on the roof. Sherrie also said the name "Suzie" was also on the roof. Sherrie says, "The name on the roof is Suzie....given to the car by my dad and Billy O. My dad always said...if you knew Suzie like I knew Suzie, Oh what a gal. My dad went on to say that Suzie was the name of an old "hooker" and that is why this car was Suzie, as only a woman and a hooker would take your money as much as a stockcar, a thus her name "Suzie" Only three drivers did drive this car. Meme, Billy Pauch and Billy O. I am not positive of the order. DeSantis was last." Thanks for the first hand info Sherrie! |
