Comments: Hamilton Detective Ed Connor shown above behind the wheel of what I'm told might be the former Lenny Martin yellow #4 Falcon.

Many will also remember Ed for his quick actions that helped to reduce further injury to Flemington Sportsman racer Frank Klem.  Frank's #22 Coupe burst into flames after flipping between turns 1 & 2 at Flemington and Ed quickly came to a stop, grabbed his fire extinguisher and ran to Frank's as he was attempting to get out of his overturned burning car.  Frank experienced burns in the accident, but the extent of the injuries would have been worse if it wasn't for the quick action by Ed.

I spoke to my dad (who was involved with Ed on the #39C) and the #39C was originally the Lenny Martins #4.
