Driver (s) : Tighe Scott
Location: Not sure...
Date: 1970's
Photographer: Paul Irving
Photo provided by: Paul Irving
Comments: One of the cooler cars of the day, this car looks lightweight to me...  Even though Tighe was a local driver from the Northeast, I got to see him run more often at Daytona!

07/12/08 alby salter fuzzy van horn ran this car one night at Middletown in the heat race for Scotty and almost lap the whole field in ten laps.in the feature Scotty won and Carl was second that night.
07/13/08 Rich Reinhart Looks like the NYSF..
07/14/08 Dave Welty This photo is definitely Tighe at the New York State Fairgrounds at Syracuse for the Super Dirt Race sometime in the late seventies. Notice the wheel covers for aerodynamics not as mud plugs. If I'm not mistaken this car had a windshield when it showed up. Don't know if the officials made him take it out or if he just had it in for qualifying only.
07/14/08 Steve Kresge Looks like tighe is coming out of the pits at Syracuse.
07/14/08 Robert Hanna I'm pretty sure that's Syracuse...
07/14/08 Jack Reinhard That looks like Syracuse, it appears as if it has a big fuel tank. Tighe & crew always put a lot of effort in preparing for the mile.

Looks Syracuse

I KNOW THIS CAR ALL TO WELL... TIGHE BROKE A TRANS IN HOT LAPS AND WE HAD TO CHANGE IT IN TIME FOR QUALIFYING.  NO TIME TO GET IN LINE AS THEY SAID IF WE MISSED OUR SPOT GO TO THE REAR, SO WE PUT THE TRANS IN WITH NO SHIFTER....
