Comments: One of the best forms or advertising your local dirt track...  What kid wouldn't be tuggin on his dad's shirt asking him "Dad... What kind of racecar is that?"...  "Can we go watch it race?"

...And behind the wheel of this one, they would have got to see one of the sports best - Carl Van Horn.

I just read where Carl is being inducted into the Hall of Fame.  Well deserved for the racer, the track builder, the promoter and a favorite of most who enjoyed watching Carl for over 3 decades.  If you guys want to have some fun, list out some of the cars that you remember Carl behind the wheel of...

01/08/09 Joe Meshach Glad to hear that Fuzzy will be in the Hall of Fame! I always enjoyed watching him and cheering him on as he slid through the turns, whether they were at Harmony, Middletown, or Nazareth. The cars I remember seeing him pilot were the 71e (of course), 2A, and the 97.
01/09/09 Alby Salter Yes it is true he was just interview by Chuck Givler on Thursday night.  I was there for it.  Carl feels honor for people that are remembering him from years past.  He is a joy to listen to about all the old times.  I feel honor to be around him for many of years and to be a friend of his.  Carl Van Horn could do anything with his hands and his mind he is a true pioneer to stock car racing.   I know he would love to put the helmet on one last time.
