03.29.09 | Tom Gray | Earl Pursell went on to build some pretty nice sportsman cars including his own #28 Chevette that followed his old coupe and the red Gremlin #23K driven by Kurt Kraiser. The 28 Chevette would later become the 3H (Dave Hawn?) where it continued to be campaigned at the square. When Earl junked the coupe body I brought it home and hung it on my ministock but didn't finish the body work before the season started so I went back to the Gremlin body......Too bad as the tiny coupe looked really nice on my chassis..... |
