Looking like horses pent up in a corral, the mighty modifieds, with
their different shapes and strategies are ready for the gate to open so they
can show us all what "horsepower" really is! Coupes, sedans, Pintos, Gremlins, Mustangs.... Not only did the driver's have personalities, but so did the cars that they drove. We used this one for a trivia question a while back, but felt that it is such a great photo that we had to find a permanent home for it here in The Vault. |

I have to agree with George many of these cars have personalities , as well as the drivers. I also think it must be an extra distance race, lots of carbs instead of injectors. |
