Comments: Looking like horses pent up in a corral, the mighty modifieds, with their different shapes and strategies are ready for the gate to open so they can show us all what "horsepower" really is!

Coupes, sedans, Pintos, Gremlins, Mustangs.... Not only did the driver's have personalities, but so did the cars that they drove.

We used this one for a trivia question a while back, but felt that it is such a great photo that we had to find a permanent home for it here in The Vault.

09.13.09 Walter Onora Judging by all the cars there, looks like one of the "Eastern States" races. I could name quite a few, that are not regulars.
09.16.09 Charlie Miller Thank you for adding this fine photo to the Vault . It's these great photos that lure many of us old timers to this fine web-site. I have to agree with George many of these cars have personalities , as well as the drivers.
