10.24.09 Walter Onora I first remember Wilbur Force at Flemington back in 1968! He was very dominant in the Ltd Sportsman division (pre-cursor to the small block division) In fact, I believe, He was points champion that year. Later became a tough and consistent driver in the modified division at Nazareth and Flemington.
10.24.09 Oldtimer Behind Wilbur's #8 that sure looks like Dave Pace's #69 1939 or 1940 Chevy coupe that ran out of Bathgate's Garage near Port Murray, NJ.
10.25.09 Charlie Miller First of all nice looking racecar. Second , can't help but notice all the lady's in this photo, one walking down pit lane , two in the back of the car , and one in front. Was this typical for Harmony . This has to be the start of Women's Rights Movement!
10.25.09 3Wide Maybe Jack can tell us if he took this one after the races...  Wilbur looks awful clean for it to had been before the races though.
10.25.09 Walter Onora Do not remember this color scheme. His eights were like a metallic blue. Also, checking out the position of the steering wheel. If the picture was taking during 1971, at Harmony, it had to be the time of the "Tri-track" organization.
10.25.09 Jack Kromer This pic was taken during camera and autograph day at Harmony, during the Tri State thing. That's why women and kids (me included) are around the cars. The autograph area was held on the dragstrip between the frontstrech and grandstands, not in the pits.
11.16.10 Gary Lileck And, now his son Brad Force drives the #8 Sportsman-Modified at the Big Diamond (PA) Raceway. I never had the opportunity to watch Wilbur race.
