Comments: | Hoop D Doop's #08 Vega... By the size of that right front tire, looks like Bruce was trying to get this car to turn all by itself. There's a couple of battle scars on the #08, but this was a really neat looking car, and Bruce was a very steady runner, who returned to the sport a few years back (2005?) and had very strong runs in what else, a black #08 at New Egypt Speedway. |

11.08.09 | Charlie Miller | A few dents , dings, and bangs , but one very nice looking racer. When the coupes and sedans started disappearing , I somewhat complained , but the variety of the late-model bodies more then made up for my disappointment. |

I think many of us rooted for underdog Bruce Hooper.
Check the record books, see who finished 2nd to Billy Pauch in almost all of
his rookie races at Flemington. |
11.11.16 | Paul Madsen | Nice guy,I helped Bruce a short time when he ran for Henry Verity. When I helped him was sponsored by Mt Pleasant deli and Got free hoagies for the nights racing. |
