It was "only" about 30 years ago when a racecar was often painted just one
color.... and the lettering consisted mostly of a number on both sides and
the roof... and the driver's name written over the side windows...
Here's Fred in one his Pinto bodied modified. The car has a nice, smooth... "all business" look to it. And we all enjoyed watching Fred in his #303.
Fred did well at other tracks, but I think East Windsor was always "home".
The photo was a little damaged, so its hard to see, but I wonder how many of you might have been standing on the other side of the chain link fence?

I WENT BACK HOME TO NEW EGYPT (FROM MICHIGAN). HE WON HIS FIRST MODIFIED RACE THERE AND AUGIE FALCON'S CAR WON THE SPORTSMAN RACE, ,WOW - WELL WORTH THE TRIP FROM MICHIGAN,
THANX A LOT FRED FOR ALL THE GREAT TIMES IN THE PITS.
