Comments: Sometimes "clean" driver's are only known for their consistency.  Oliver Butler was both - consistent and a winner!  I saw him run the Silliman #4 for a few years, and then the Menschner #21, as well as the #68, #45 and the #400.  I'll admit... my favorite ride was the #21 above.

The "Butler" racing tradition continues... In fact, there's so many Butlers involved in today's dirt track racing (and that's a GREAT thing), that I'm not even sure who's related to who!  As far as I know, Clay Butler (former racer and who can be found each week in the pit shack at New Egypt Speedway Pit)  is Oliver's son... and "Ollie" (Clay's brother) used to race a silver #5 Late Model at Flemington...  There's also Clay, Bobby and Mike "Butler" who also race...

Then you have "Gary Butler" who is a top running modified driver at New Egypt Speedway who many of The Vault faithful will always remember from his days of dominating the Late Model Division at Flemington in the 80's in his red #68...  Then there was "Gary Butler in the #U2"who was not any relation to the crew mentioned above... and then you have cars that said "Butler Built" on them (such as Newt Hartman's #24 Pinto....)

... And there's more out there for sure!  Hopefully you guys will be able to straighten it all out for us!
