Comments: It's bad enough to get a flat tire going through the corner...  It's even worse getting in front of the BUS!  Mark was kind enough to send this picture in to the Vault and if I understood him correctly, I think Billy was able to get it slowed down enough to avoid contact with the #00.

01/23/03 Todd L I remember Mark as a strong competitor with limited backing who got the most out of his cars the 00 was always fast, I believe this car saw new life as a Johnny Leach # 99.
01/26/03 Dsp That was the last race of the year for Mark, and that flat told the story of his season. Could not buy any racing luck at all!  The only racing mark does now is sail boats all over the east cost, with more success than his racing.
01/26/04 Mark (This) is a Dave Pratt photo and I sold that car to Joe Winne who died of a heart attack while racing at Orange County. NOT in the same car, he died several years later. The motor, (a Tony Fiel peice), I sold to Chris Ammon who put it in a pavement mod and won a feature at Evergreen.
I sold another complete car to Johnny Leach in 1991.
02/07/03 Debbi Mark Horger spoke of selling his motor to Chris Ammon, that is my husband. That motor was great, held up for a few seasons for us. Debbi
