10.17.10 | Wayne Weaver | Thanks for posting, that is a cool shot. This was my first
year driving and I won the feature at the end of the season September 6,
1980. This car is not the car I have today. This one is the car my brother purchased off of John Trauger . It's a Tobias Chassis from Flemington that had the 1935 Ford body. This is in the 70's section. We reskined the car with the sheet metal Gremlin and my brother drove this car to many small block wins at Georgetown and US-13. I purchased the car from Paul when he went Modified racing. I took this car to US13 in October of 1980 and ran with the Modifieds and ended up flipping and totaling the car. I built the car I have today in the winter of 1981. Hard to believe this photo was taken 30 years ago and I was only 20 years old. Wayne Weaver |
10.17.10 | 3Wide | Thanks for the correct information Wayne. Was it a #400 when your brother got it from John Trauger? |
12.14.10 | Sweeten Family | Couldn't help but notice Dad's red El Camino in the background. Cant believe we lost him 4 years ago last week. Red car, red socks, red underwear, and red velvet wallpaper in the bedroom. Possibly to much information for the vault. |
