Comments: | Here's a great looking mid 80's racer driven at Flemington by Mark Housby. Its got a great shape to it (looks fast just sittin' there!), great paint and great lettering. Not sure who should bet all the credit, but it's a beauty. According to Mark and according to the hood, it is a Burnett built racer. |

09.23.11 | Tim Housby | The year of this picture was 1985, our second year of competition at Flemington. As far as the car goes we painted it all black and the great Scottie Kania took it from there. Cars are not lettered like this anymore, hand painted stripes, airbrushing and pin striping. I miss that. I don’t know if I have the name right, but I believe Allen Jergenson did the body and welding. He worked for John Burnett. |
09.23.11 | 3Wide | Thanks Tim. You are right... It looks like it might say, "Body and Sheet Metal by Alan Jurgensen" on the 1/4 panel. |
10.14.11 | Bruce Thomas | This car look's very similar to the #9 big block modified that Howie Cronce drove around the same time. |
