Car #: #51M & #71 and probably #74
Driver (s) : possibly Larry Taylor (see note below in Visitor Comments section) in the Michael Bros #51 M, Ken Brenn Jr. (?) in the Stashluck #71 and maybe Stan Ploski the Trenton Mack #74?
Location: Flemington, NJ
Date: 1989?
Photographer: Dave Pratt
Photo provided by: dsp photoz
Comments: Great shot from the late 80's at Flemington as the cars pitch into turn 1.  Looks like a little smoke coming out of the back of the #71...

09.26.11 Brian C. Loutrel If this was taken in 1989, Stan Ploski was driving the Critelli $ Tobias
car, not the Trenton Mack 74.
09.26.11 3Wide If that is the #74, then it is either Stan, or Fritz.  Brenn drove it too, but if that's him in the #71, then it can't be him...  Not sure what year but Scott Kania drove the #71 too.  Maybe even Frank Cozze for a little while????  I know Frank drove it years earlier when it was silver and may even of been a King car.

But like you said, by 1989, Stan was in the $ sign and I think the Trenton Mack team was not onto the white paint scheme with the #704, right?.  I'm thinking this picture is from 1987 or so?
09.26.11 Kevin Mc Quite possibly one of the best Flemington Speedway photos I have ever seen.
Alot of things going on in that shot. All of it good

You can even see the star on the side of the covered stands.

I always wondered why that star was there

11.06.11 Todd C Lewis The picture of the 51M and the 71 (w smoke) is Scottie in the 71 (not Ken Brenn)
