The picture was taken in Flemington at our
house on Maple Avenue. My brother David took the photo. Joe ran this car
at Flemington for a few races and then someone tagged him and he flipped it
in turn 1. He put it back together and kept going. He ran Flemington on
Saturday and Nazareth on Sunday with this car. We also went to Middletown a
few time and we towed the car up to Middletown for the Eastern States
sportsman race that year. The car was a Burnett chassis. I seem to recall that he and/or Tom Carberry (his brother in law) literally built the chassis at Burnett's as my brother did some fabrication work in John’s shop on occasion. |
