Comment: I don't know how long Bill drove this car, but
looking at this picture, it is one sharp looking modified. The shape
of the car - The stance.... The red stripe and the lettering... Looks
like Bill was onto something with the headers enclosed. Bill Lowden is an amazing fabricator - Willing to try new things. Give him some pipe, some sheet metal... and a few tools and next thing you know it'll turn into something like you see above. I've never asked him how many cars he built through the years but I know there has been a bunch, and I know that they span other forms of motorsports too. More recently, Bill and his son Billy Jr's efforts have been in the vintage area, restoring and/or recreating many of our favorite cars from back in the day. Here's just one example of what I'm talking about: https://3widespicturevault.com/FRONT%20PAGE%20STUFF/Project_292_H02.27.11.htm Like I said above.... amazing talent. |

If the body got any smaller and tires any bigger it would have only existed in a cartoon…..This is bad a_ _! An awesome time capsule of what racing used to be….. |
