I hand lettered this car for Richie. I was just starting out and Richie gave me a shot at it. The # sign ahead of the 61 was Richie’s idea and I think it added some personality to the car. Looking back I wish I had stuck with the lettering and got better at it. I really admire the guys that made a name for themselves doing this type of work. Recently got back into lettering and bought a vinyl machine, but find myself picking up the brush more lately. It’s a lost art in this wrap and vinyl world. |
