04/02/05 Brian Showers This picture was taken at Penn National..........probably the best track I've ever been to.......Rest In Peace Penn National
04/03/05 Mark Flamisch This is Elvin's '87 ride in the pits at Penn National. They didn't call him "Electrifying Elvin" for nothing- I recall him winning a feature with this car running the extreme outside with the rear bumper scraping the wall and sparks flying almost every lap. Any event at PN that Elvin was entered was more exciting by his mere presence. What a shame that a great speedway is left to rot away for nothing. PIP, Penn National.
04/23/05 Sue & Brad Hubler I remember many nights at Penn National with Elvin Felty in this car, he was the show on many occasions. What a shame, that once great race track, sits there today and rots away, not for long though, talk has it that the old speedway will be torn down soon, RIP PN, I spent many a summers being a Tri-Tracker and the weekend would always end with a trip to Penn National on Sunday night.
05/08/05 Fred Voorhees I have to join with you guys in saying what a shame that this track sits in shambles and isn't still an active facility.  By far one of my favorite tracks. I miss it!!  A visit to Penn National was always special to me. RIP!
09.01.09 Gerald Felty I recall a Dash for Cash race at Penn National with Doug Hoffman, Elvin, and Fred Rahmer, what a trio. I've seen many races in my life, but that was one of the most exciting. They came in Hoffman, Felty, and Rahmer, but Felty made the race.
