Comments: Great looking car... Not real sure how you get in and out of it, but it sure is pretty!  I remember this car being very fast in Sportsman ranks right around 1986 or 87.  I believe that it is Bill's son Joey McCarthy that now runs the Busch North Series or other higher level races.

04/02/06 Eric Field ...dirt Sedan delivery... could you imagine it at EWS with the 'barn doors' on it...
04/04/06 3-Wide I get it now...  this is a 1980's style Sedan!  Never looked at it that way before.
03/23/08 Ken Smith Bill McCarthy's car was built like that in an effort to catch the air to keep the rear wheels planted for bite coming off the corners. It is something we designed in the shop and worked well till the officials made us cut them down on the third week of racing. Don't quite remember the exact year.

Always loved this body style! Looks fast just sitting still. Not many guys ran this body style, but I thought it was a welcome change compared to the Olsen Eagle's and Troyer Mud Bus bodies. Kind of funny when you look back now, I guess this was truly the start of the big sail panels!

12.30.12 3Wide I agree Shawn.  That's a cool looking car, so I guess I'm a hypocrite when I say I only like real steel bodies, because this one is just flat out cool and I don't know what it's supposed to look like.
