| Comments: | One of the last surviving coupes to circle the square in competition... Here's Danny Klockner in the sportsman division around what we think is either 1980, 1981 or 1982. Danny also drove his own great looking black #55 coupe prior to this, and also a 80's style sheet metal black #55 (I think) around 1983... He later scored a Modified Feature win in a white #20 or #21... and also competed in the Barry Schenck owned "A" car during the 88 and/or 89 season. |

| 12/30/06 | 3-Wide | I remember Bob Rindgen telling me that he either drove this car at one point, or was looking to buy it.... Can't quite remember, but I do know that it was one of the last coupes to run Sportsman at Flemington. (Kania's #71, and Keith Nagy's yellow #22 which was the former Dave Spurlin built and driven #42 which he has since made a beautiful replica of.) |
