Comments: | Not sure who's in this particular #$ as I'm not sure what years Stan was in and what years Bill Dubovick was behind the wheel, but watching modifieds drift 2 and 3 wide all the way around the 5/8th speedway was something to be seen! |

10/30/06 | Brian C. Loutrel | The year is 1988 and the driver competing with Billy Pauch is Stan Ploski.
Stan came out of retirement late in 1987 to drive the Critelli $. The team retained the Olsen chassis car for the most of 1988 until it was replaced by a Tobias chassis car in August. |
11/05/06 | Greg | I don't think the $ car is an Olsen in this shot, and sure isn't a Tobias. The front bumper tells me it is a Troyer, but the body tells me it is a Show Car chassis. Troyer and Show Car had the same stance. I wasn't at Flemington much, so my history is vague, but I know my chassis. To change an Olsen front bumper to a Troyer still would be pointless, but maybe they did it. Still a great picture that captures the great days at Flemington. |
