Comments: | With
the bulldog riding on the hood, Fritz Epright really used to get around in this #704.
I could be wrong on this, but I think this was one of the first cars to take
advantage of a really wide body in the mid 80's at Flemington... I'm sure those side
pods didn't hurt any either! On a similar note, I had an opportunity to watch some Flemington footage from the 80's and it reminded me of just how good a driver Fritz Epright is. Fritz made everything he drove a contender at the square! |

04/28/07 | Bill Hanna | I do believe this is the first Olsen built car that Trenton Mack owned. It was a time when they were dominating at the square. Fritz was a real threat each and every week with car. |
11/20/07 | PJ Wyer | That 704 was awesome. With the exception of the "KID" . Fritz got around the square as anyone I ever saw. |
12.02.10 | CHIP | I remember back in 89"or 90" Fritz drove this car, and I think Jack Johnson built it and if he didn't win on any one particular night, it was because the car broke down or he didn't show up. I heard he won something like 10 races in one year and only raced 12times?? If anyone can remember let us know. |
