Comments: I can't remember if Brett ran Bridgeport that often, but on many occassions, it seemed that no matter where he showed up, Brett often took home all the marbles, and trophies, and $....

03/08/03 Todd L Brett is a great driver and fast at lots of tracks, When he shows up in Jersey he is kind of like the bully that just takes everybody's candy
03/08/03 3-Wide The only exception may be East Windsor as I was there one night and remember that Brett was expected to run.  I think he came out in the consi and took a slow role-over and I don't think he has been back since.  I'm sure if he put the effort in, he would quickly become a top runner at East Windsor, but as a professional race driver, I'm sure Brett goes where his probability of winning is the greatest...And right now, I think he has a different Saturday Night home.
03/08/03 Todd L Brett showed up at The Port for BIG $$$ shows and early or late season specials, He was never a regular and after years of running Sat. at Orange County he now runs for Gable Motorsports with Bud sponsorship at Lebanon Valley.
10/19/04 Ray Morro This is a picture of Hearn's Auto Palace #72 at Bridgeport's 1994 opener in April. I remember this show as they allowed sail panels to be used on the big blocks, it might have been billed as an "open competition" event and I recall that B-port did allow sail panels on the mods for a season or two. Brett Hearn was one of the outside invaders at this show as well as Bob McCreadie and the feature victory came down to a 5-lap shootout between the "Corporate Jet" and "Barefoot Bob" with Bob scoring the win
to add to his incredible 47 win season that year - all in big blocks, no 358's or other divisions...
07/17/07 Highrollers78 In reply to the comment left by Mr. Morro, I dug out my 1994 Bridgeport Bandit just to see if my memory served me correctly. Bob McCreadie did NOT win opening day 1994 @ Bridgeport, Brett Hearn did.

There was a shootout between Bob and Brett however, Bob got a flat tire and Brett went on to win. The SKOAL DIRT race that June of 1994 was a different story. Hearn got out front and cruised around while McCreadie (who crashed out in his heat) came from the rear in a back-up car to pass Hearn around lap 80-ish to go on to the win in the 94-lap feature. I'll never forget that night as it was the night before my EIGHTH grade graduation ceremony, and after getting home late midweek, I was
TIRED all day for grad practice....yes, you read that correctly, I was ONLY 14 in 1994, but to be honest, from 1994-1999 is when my racing memory was strongest.

I still enjoy races today but nothing this decade 2000-current stays in my mind as like it did in the 90's.
12.18.15  Jack Burroughs Seems to me that Brett always had a difficulty running Flemington, until he hooked up with B.O.S.S.
