04/02/03 Todd L I remember John's father racing the same number at EWS (I believe it was an S&S chassis) I also remember the 25th anniversary events at EWS with Will Cagle in the seat of the 84 and if my memory is right the steering wheel came off in Will's hands that night.
04/04/03 Todd J Todd L - I was there for that race and the steering wheel did come off!   I remember whoever the announcer was asking him (I didn't pay attention to those things then) what happened and how he ever got it into the infield. Cagle told'em he just grabbed ahold of the shaft with his hands and wrenched it on it to turn it!

I think John Jr has purchased a former Truppi #02 Troyer and will run Big Blocks at New Egypt. He's a good kid and takes time with the fans... We wish'em luck with the BB deal.

04/09/03 Todd L The announcer was Jeff Gravatt, old regular announcer Lou Brunnel had a regular show at Nazareth( I think)
04/11/03 JOHN ROMANO SR The steering wheel came off of the 99 car (25 anniversary show ews) that SAMMY BEAVERS was driving that night, WILL CAGLE won, and STAN THE MAN was third driving my other car the three, that was run by THE SAID NO TO DRUGS TEAM
04/11/03 Todd L thanks for the clarification John
04/14/03 Inez Romano Involved in the ups and downs of racing for over 30 yrs., I respect and am very proud of the accomplishments and advancements of my son, John Romano Jr.  In his work and on the track he has always strived for his goals with much dedication. As car owner of his "Momma said Knock You Out " Tour 2002, I shared in his joy of a feature win and top 5 & 10th place finishes - truly the proudest season to date.   Now advanced to the modified ranks under M2 Race Systems, the coaching of Frank Cozze and the best of the rest, I wish him the Best of Luck .
04/14/03 Freddy Jr. and Hope John in fact has not purchased a new car, as he is in a full modified ride with M2 this year. We look forward to watching him take the next step in his racing career this year. We wish him the best of luck in his new role as a modified driver as well as thank him for all his sponsorship financially and encouragement to get Freddy Jr. racing this year. Best of luck, we are proud of you and look forward to watching you every week. Just stay away from the 303!
04/23/03 Todd L Good Luck John I remember when you were running around the stones at EWS cheering for your Dad in his # 84 and now you are racing your own #84 Stay Safe and keep it between the rails
