Comments: Photo comment provided by Fred Voorhees:  Coming at you in the fourth turn! Alan Johnson and CD Coville join another unidentified driver as they hustle around the corner and prepare to take the Flemington frontstretch. Is that possibly Danny Johnson in the middle car?

04/28/04 Bill Hanna Though that might be Danny Johnson, I believe it might Scott Pursell in the # 27, with some new sheet metal after a long season as this was probably shot during the National Dirt Track Championship 200 weekend activities.
04/28/04 3-Wide I think you might be right about that Bill...any ideas of the car leading the pack?
04/30/04 Fred Voorhees Bill, I did give consideration to it maybe being Scott Pursell, though I think I remember DJ running a color combination like this with the 27J designation.  That is why I thought it might be him.  Not sure.  Though I would find it easy to take your comments as the truth.  There are a number of Flemington experts that peruse this site and you are one of them.
05/01/04 3-Wide I'm very proud of the Vault Visitors and am amazed at how much you guys remember and just how many stories there are out there to be told...
05/01/04 Todd Lewis I too think this could be Scott Pursell it looks like S&S sheet metal and Scott always had a "Ploski" yellow helmet. and I see a red chassis which was a trademark of the 27Xrated team
07/18/04 Tommy Mutchler I believe the 61 is CD coville and the 27 is Tommy Mutchler and the other car could be Danny Johnson.  Tommy Mutchler had the number 27 and Purcell 27 x rated.
09/02/04 Joe Gorski I think the lead car is the #14 of Larry Friedman who used to run the early days at East Windsor Speedway in the Sportsman Division. As for the other cars, I agree the 27 is Scott Pursell and the 61 is C.D. Coville.
