Comments: | Photo comment provided by Fred Voorhees: Billy Pauch started this particular season off at the Orange County Speedway, but ended up at Flemington in the #121 Joe Scamardella Grant King modified. He was shot out of a cannon also as he won the Memorial Day 200 lapper in his first trip back to the Hunterdon Co. speedway. |

04/11/04 | FRANK MILLER | what would of happend if Billy would have ran at Flemington the intire year? He had his only Orange County win takin away that year. Billy had 5 wins in a row including 3 of the 4 20s. He did not race until mid July but chalked up 9 wins. He only ran 2 times early in the season and won both of them.... enough said... 04/11/04 | 3-Wide | Hey Frank... But how do you really feel? Just kidding... Billy
has been amazing us all for quite a few years and last night (4/10/04) at New Egypt
Speedway was no different with his last lap pass of Keith Hoffman for the win. A 1
lap shoot out found Billy lining up second to Keith with Billy taking the high line
through 1 & 2, crossing lanes entering the backstretch, taken the lead on the inside
going into 3, washing across the track through 4 with Keith fighting back on the inside,
and finally holding on for a 1/4 car length win on the outside as they crossed the stripe!
Hey Frank, probably the only thing better than watching Billy race would be watching Billy race in a Ford right? |
