Comments: | Photo comment provided by Fred Voorhees: Frenchtown's Kenny Johnson in one of his renditions of his black number 64's. I don't think there was anyone who had a bad word to say about Kenny and his driving. He was a clean and gentlemanly driver on the track, but he was also a winner. Nine times between 1980 and 1986 Johnson took the checkered flag. |

04/30/04 | Glenn Grafton | Ken's cars were some of the sharpest looking at Flemington during this time period. After retiring from driving Ken got into aviation and set some records in a plane he built himself |
12.04.09 | Michael S Brown | I think the only Sponsor shown on the car still in business
is Tommy Lions . We had a most excellent time together as a team, if you were there I was the one standing on the side rails before each race talking to my friend Ken . It can now be told before each race at Flemington , it was my job to be sure he turned left when leaving the pits! Not always that easy. :) I can honestly tell you I don't remember any of us having a harsh word to one another in our crew. But we did unmercifully tease Ken J & Butch K. Ken always got us back except for that time----- Some of the best times of my life were spent being a small part of the 64's pit crew. Thanks Michael S Brown |
