| Comments: | Need a little help on the date of this one. Photo is marked "Penn National - Sept 1981." This is Billy in the Don Arnold #57, but the 3/4 helmet is really throwing me for a loop.... Other than his first year, I though Billy only ran with a white full face helmet, so I'm not sure why he would have gone back to an open face helmet. Also, this car looks a lot like the #15 Chevette bodied racer that Billy raced in the late 70's... Not sure if its a coincidence, or if it might possibly be the same car. I'm sure guys out there know more... so hopefully they'll email us with the rest of the story. |
