3240 on the hood of the #380 prob the weight in US pounds. If so it was a TANK even by 1971 standards!!! |

The 380 is Gary Winters probably in 1971. He was a Long Island asphalt racer, but participated in the All Star league in 1971. Really the only reason he would be at Nazareth. You can see a little of the red striping on his All Star helmet. |

I think this an early season photo, when Long Island drivers would race the dirt tracks before the L.I. tracks opened. The car looks to be still unpainted, in red primer with duct tape numbers. Gray's cars were always better looking than this. |
