| Comments: | Comment from Scott: Attached is a photo that my mom, Ruth Ely, purchased at East Windsor of Pee Wee's rebuilt 72 after the "incident" with Al Tasnady a couple of weeks earlier. This is the hot rod that Pee Wee drove to victory over Tasnady and then climbed up on the roof of the 39 on the front straight to celebrate his victory. Al then stomped on the gas pedal which sent Pee Wee "flying". Although not sure, I believe the photo was taken by Ace Lane Sr. |
