| Comments: | Comment: Fantastic picture... It's a few that anyone who was fortunate enough to crew on a car at East Windsor back in the day was able to have... Taking from inside the pits, about 1/2 way down the backstretch, with the cars headed into turn 3. What's also great about this photo from John Lengenfelder is that it gives you a ground level view of how the backstretch had a little bank to it, as well as the banking in the corners. Sitting up high in the frontstretch grandstands, I don't think I even noticed it as is evident in this image I see Gremlins, I see coupes... I see Pintos.... I see Chevettes.... I'd put this photo somewhere around 1977 maybe??? |
