12/19/03 | Jeff McClung | What a classic shot of the " Old Master "! There is Richard Petty in Nascar, AJ Foyt in Indy cars, and in our sport Frankie Schneider is the one we judge all others by. He earned it! |
08/21/04 | Bucky Stevens | Frankie put this tube frame car in service at a time when we were all trying to be as light as possible. The tracks had abandoned their scales for open compitition. Frank used aluminum from the "Gremlin" body.... Half inch plate for the roof and a hood that could support his weight. Per Frank: "Hey when I started we had lots of metal around us I want to feel safe." |
09/21/05 | Eric Lorenzoni | This is a classic photo of a man who epitomizes the heart and soul of racing. An independent with the raw talent, desire and willingness to dedicate his life to the sport that he loves. I still have many classic memories of Frankie and Buzzie racing at Middletown NY in the 70's. If we could only turn back the clock... Thank you for such and awesome website. Eric Lorenzoni, Bayville NJ. |

That is Frankie's Grant King car that was acquired from Pee Wee Griffin. |
