02/02/05 J. Stinnett One of my all time favorites, Dave was a fan favorite at Flemington in the beautiful Fodor 13.   Red and white check shirt like the one in the picture, white pants and a big smile and a wave to the fans.    Rest in peace Dave and thanks for the memories.
02/20/07 George Pavlisko When Dave Haupt first meet Don House he needed to run under an assumed name.  So the 1st name was Joe but since Don House lived on Kelly Street that is where "Joe Kelly" came from. The night that Joe was hurt I thought my father was going to strangle the driver in the Red #4 that forced Joe up into the turn 4 wall. Joe could not wear his belts tight due to a rib Injury from open wheel racing.
06.03.09 JMR5135 "Gentleman Joe Kelly " was the man as far as I was concerned. My Uncle Alex took me to East Windsor Speedway one night to the stock car races in 68, and to a 12 year old this was some adventure. After the race my Uncle took me into the pits and I got to meet Joe and he even let me sit in the Fodor 13. Joe was my driver and the memories of Joe wheeling the Fodor 13 will live with me forever.
